The system has audio inputs and outputs connections which allow it to be used with many kinds of input sources as well as the ability to feed a tape recorder, a telephone coupler and external public address system. Like all Philips discussion units it has an easily visible red LED mic active ring on the microphone head. The system is available with carrying cases which allow easy transport of the system to facilitate quick setup and simple operation. The microphone units are available with long or standard length necks. A Chairman's microphone unit is available with the addition of a priority mic switch which sounds a chime and turns off all active mics as long as the button is depressed allowing a moderator to interrupt the session. Accessories, such as storage cases, extension cables and rack mount brackets are available.
